A site with this theme existed for almost a decade under geocities, and when the latter was closed, I've transferred the content to this site (Fall 2009).

I function more as some sort of editor for the content, merely formatting and posting here the large number of contributions received from those of you who enjoy seeing and reading accounts fitting the theme of the site. Plus, the accounts and captions that I happen to come across myself during occasional surfing through the net. updates. That's about it.
